Wendy McMillan’s first submitted manuscript was written in marker on paper napkins at the age of 7. All grown up, a teacher and freelance writer, Wendy holds Master’s degrees in Creative writing and Education.
At the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, she studied under Scottish poet Douglas Dunn, and was awarded a Distinction in Poetry.
A dedicated runner and triathlete, Wendy loves all things health, fitness and nutrition related. A self-described obsessive health foodie, she regularly experiments in the kitchen to create deliciously nutritious recipes. Wendy has run five marathons and recently completed her first Ironman Triathlon. She has played the piano since a child and is an avid fan of the arts.
In the summer of 2008, Wendy was featured in her local paper after one of her recipes made the lead story in Cooking Light’s Reader Recipes. She has contributed numerous recipes, as well as articles, to Natural Solutions Magazine.
